The document was signed by Altay Kuzdibayev, Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakhstan Housing Company JSC, and Vyacheslav Pak, Chairman of the Management Board of the Eurasian Association for the Inclusive Society Development, LLC.

The main purpose of the memorandum is to develop cooperation between the Parties aimed at creating an accessible, comfortable, urban and social environment for the population, as well as to improve the quality of life of the population, sustainable development of the cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the special needs of persons with disabilities and low mobility groups of the population.

Key areas of cooperation:

• Development of accessibility standards for urban infrastructure and public spaces.
• Training and staff education on inclusive design.
• Monitoring, certification and independent expertise of facilities for compliance with national and international requirements.
• Creating a system of incentives for construction organizations to implement solutions that improve inclusiveness.
• Development of an accessible information environment, including digital and navigation solutions for low mobility groups.
• Formation of an expert community consisting of representatives of government agencies, project organizations and public associations.
• Organization of seminars, conferences and round tables to share knowledge and best practices.

The Memorandum will enable using the expertise and best practices of this organization to improve the urban environment in Kazakhstan.

Interaction between the KHC and the Association is based on the principles of voluntariness, transparency and independence. Joint activities are not of a commercial nature and do not pursue the goal of profit making.
