On October 17, 2022, a meeting was held between the management of the Kazakhstan Housing Company JSC and the Board of Directors of the Asian Development Bank on the provision of technical assistance for the implementation of the project: “Support for the development of innovative financing for green housing construction”.

The aim of the technical assistance is to develop a low-carbon, energy-efficient and climate-resilient green housing project.

Nowadays, the largest CO2 emissions are associated with housing and communal services, especially if we take into account the climatic features of Kazakhstan, where there are areas that can be heated on coal for up to 6 months a year, further polluting the atmosphere. The construction of green housing from environmentally friendly materials and modern energy-efficient materials is the key to solving this issue.
