Students from Astana IT University and the Kazakhstan-British Technical University completed an internship at JSC “Kazakhstan Housing Company.”
For three months, they worked on the “Data Warehouse” project. During the internship, the students went through the full data lifecycle — data collection and cleaning, processing and loading using SQL/Python tools, working with the PostgreSQL database, and creating dashboards and visualizations in Power BI.
“My major, Big Data Analysis, is closely related to Data Science and Data Analytics. During the internship at the Kazakhstan Housing Company, we went through all stages of studying data analytics. It was very insightful to apply the knowledge we gained in practice and learn from leading professionals in the field,” — said Zhandos Abdіreshov, a 3rd-year student at Astana IT University.
