Today, amendments to Order No. 432 of the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan came into force, halving the number of documents required to obtain a guarantee from the Unified Operator — JSC “Kazakhstan Housing Company.”
“We conducted a round of meetings with businesses, removed unnecessary requirements, and implemented simple and transparent procedures. Developers can submit their applications online through the portal on an ongoing basis and track the status through personal accounts. A digital trail is preserved at every stage,” said Olzhas Salykhov, Deputy Chairman.
“This year we will surpass the 1 trillion tenge mark. We are working to reduce legislative requirements so that small and medium-sized companies, especially in the regions, have the opportunity to obtain our guarantee. If a project defaults, KHC completes the housing at its own expense and transfers it to the shareholders, ensuring 100% protection of citizens’ funds,” he explained.
Through the guarantee mechanism, a total of 178 projects amounting to almost 862 billion tenge have been approved. This has allowed the protection of deposits of 53,000 shareholders nationwide.
