At the Kazakhstan Housing Company (a subsidiary of JSC “NUH “Baiterek”, KHC), a roundtable dedicated to finding a methodology for integrated territorial development was held at the Center of Competence for Territorial Development. Specialists from various fields participated in the discussion, including experts in urban planning, economics, social sciences, and engineering disciplines.
The main goal of the meeting was to establish an initial understanding of how to organize an effective dialogue between experts. Approaches to integrating diverse knowledge and practices were discussed to form a comprehensive vision of territorial development, where social, economic, and spatial aspects are considered in interconnection.
The roundtable served as the first step toward creating a common platform for interdisciplinary collaboration and developing a methodology that allows for a more systematic approach to city and regional development.
