JSC “Kazakhstan Housing Company” (a subsidiary of JSC “NUH Baiterek,” KHC) hosted the educational program “Urban Transformation and Fundamentals of Integrated Territorial Development.”
The program aims to enhance the competencies of specialists in urban planning, implement principles of sustainable and integrated territorial development, and strengthen cooperation between government bodies and construction industry professionals.
The program included lectures by recognized urban planning experts and covered a wide range of topics: from residential architecture and development regulation to transport policy, sustainable landscaping, and the application of smart technologies in city management. Special attention was given to the practical application of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s Standard for Integrated Territorial Development.
“KHC is committed to fostering a new culture of urban planning, founded on continuous and open dialogue among developers, architects, and government authorities. In this regard, the company has already taken important steps — the KHC Competence Center for Territorial Development has been established to conduct comprehensive urban studies, and a new financing mechanism for integrated development projects has been launched,” emphasized KHC Chairman of the Board Altay Kuzdibayev.
The program served as a platform for experience and knowledge exchange and made a significant contribution to the development of modern approaches to creating comfortable and sustainable cities in Kazakhstan.
