Today, the first 20 families ceremoniously received keys to their new apartments. The housing was constructed under the Concept for the Development of Housing and Communal Infrastructure for 2023–2029 and transferred to the new owners in accordance with the signed Agreement on the Implementation of Rental Housing with the Right to Purchase between JSC "Kazakhstan Housing Company," the Akimat of Astana, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Under the terms of the Agreement, to ensure affordable housing for the population, public sector employees can acquire apartments in installments for up to 20 years at a minimal interest rate of 3.1%.
Marat Abdrakhmanov, Director of the Real Estate Management Department at JSC "Kazakhstan Housing Company," stated:
"For this project, 102 apartments with a total area of over 4,500 square meters will be implemented. Overall, in 2024, within the framework of the Concept for the Development of Housing and Communal Infrastructure for 2023–2029, the Kazakhstan Housing Company plans to acquire more than 124,000 square meters of housing across the country."
Among the happy new homeowners is Ainur Takhaeva, a functional diagnostics doctor at the State Institution "Main Military Clinical Hospital" of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who said:
"Housing is one of the most pressing issues today. Thanks to the 'Rental Housing with the Right to Purchase' program, owning a home has become a reality for many, not just a dream! Today is a very significant day for all of us."
