On July 3, 2025, a meeting was held in Kostanay regarding the interaction between JSC «Kazakhstan Housing Company» (KHC) and the Kostanay regional akimat.
The meeting was attended by Berik Tanjarikov, Deputy Akim of Kostanay Region; Olzhas Salykоv, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC «KHC»; Almat Isenbayev, Deputy Akim of the city of Kostanay; representatives of the Territory Development Competence Center (TDCC); and officials from the Kostanay regional akimat.
During the meeting, the TDCC presented a comprehensive study of the city of Kostanay. This initiative will allow KHC and the regional administration to better understand where and to what extent housing construction mechanisms should be applied, thereby increasing their effectiveness.
Preliminary results of the analysis of the current infrastructure, social services, and demographic dynamics of the city were demonstrated. Key problem areas requiring priority attention in housing construction and engineering infrastructure development programs were identified. The study is still ongoing.
Additionally, the meeting discussed financing issues for the construction of sewage treatment facilities with the participation of JSC «KHC».
Participants emphasized the need to synchronize the study results with the city’s master plan and the medium-term socio-economic development plans of the region.
Following the meeting, directives were given to relevant departments to ensure cooperation with the TDCC and provide all necessary information regarding the project, including data on land plots, engineering networks, and resettlement forecasts.
