The poetry challenge “Ana tılım – qazynam” (“My Mother Tongue is My Treasure”), dedicated to the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan, has concluded.
The event was organized by “Baiterek” Holding in celebration of the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan. The challenge was initiated by the Chairman of the Management Board of the Holding, Aidar Arifkhanov, who recited the famous poem “Ana tiliñ – arıñ bul” (“Your Mother Tongue is Your Honor”) by Qadyr Myrza Ali, and by the Chief of Staff of the Holding, Dina Akrachkova, who performed “Tugan tılım” (“My Native Language”) by Dikhan Abilov.
The baton was then passed to the subsidiaries of “Baiterek” Holding — the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, the Agrarian Credit Corporation, the “Damu” Entrepreneurship Development Fund, the Kazakhstan Housing Company, KazAgroFinance, Kazyna Capital Management, the Investment Fund of Kazakhstan, KazakhExport, and Otbasy Bank. The challenge was concluded by the affiliated company, the Industrial Development Fund. Their videos can be viewed on the official YouTube channel of “Baiterek” Holding.
It is worth noting that the language challenge was also continued by the regional branches of the Holding’s subsidiaries across Kazakhstan.
As a reminder, the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan is celebrated annually on September 5, marking the birthday of Akhmet Baitursynov, an educator, linguist, and literary scholar. Today, this significant day has become not only a celebration of the languages spoken in Kazakhstan but also a symbol of interethnic harmony and spiritual unity in the country.
