As part of the “Nurly Zher” Program (hereinafter – the Program), the Kazakhstan Housing Company has launched an online platform — www.material.kz — aimed at supporting domestic manufacturers of construction materials and increasing the share of Kazakhstan-made products in the housing construction sector.
The platform enables Kazakhstani manufacturers of construction materials to create their own showcases with listed prices and provides construction companies with direct access to locally produced materials without the need for additional search costs.
After completing registration on the platform, domestic manufacturers can review the demand for construction materials and send electronic commercial offers directly to construction companies. In turn, construction companies receive notifications in their personal accounts about incoming offers from material manufacturers.
The objectives of creating the online platform are to:
• Improve transparency in the implementation of the “Nurly Zher” Program;
• Provide Kazakhstani manufacturers with information on material demand under the Program and the opportunity to send electronic commercial offers;
• Increase the share of local content in housing construction;
• Enable construction companies to obtain favorable offers on construction materials;
• Reduce housing construction costs by eliminating intermediaries between construction companies and material manufacturers;
• Transition to online cost estimation and analysis systems with dynamic pricing from Kazakhstani producers.
