On July 7, 2022, a discussion was held on amendments to the legislation on shared housing construction and homeowners’ associations (OSI).

The discussion was attended by representatives of JSC “Kazakhstan Housing Company” (KHC), the Union of Builders of Kazakhstan, the National Association of Cooperatives and Other Forms of Economic Communities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Association of Management and Service Companies “QazProperty”, as well as other representatives of the industry.

Participants of the meeting discussed the following issues:

1. The role of housing construction cooperatives in shared housing construction and amendments to the Law on Shared Participation in Housing Construction.

2. Reorganization of housing construction cooperatives into homeowners’ associations (OSI).

3. Improvement of legislation in the field of management of multi-apartment residential buildings.
