On March 18, 2026, Kazakhstan Housing Company JSC (KHC JSC - a subsidiary of Baiterek National Investment Holding JSC) held a meeting with the Shared Construction Participants of the Asyl Mura residential complex in Shymkent, for which a warranty claim had been filed.
During the meeting, Altai Kuzdibayev, Chairman of the Board of Kazakhstan Housing Company JSC, together with the developer Oks Group, provided an update on the progress of construction and installation work on a high-rise residential building with commercial premises located at: Shymkent, Karatau District, Nurtas Microdistrict, 5/3.
The meeting participants received clarification on the procedure for further cooperation, including the conclusion of supplemental agreements to the Shared Construction Participation Agreement.
During the meeting, the participants discussed in detail issues related to the facility’s warranty period. The participants raised a number of questions regarding the procedure and timeline for rectifying any defects after construction is completed.
In accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the following warranty obligations apply to the facility:
1. Primary Structural Elements
The warranty period for the building’s primary structural elements is 10 years from the date the facility is commissioned. During this period, the developer bears full responsibility for the structural integrity and safety of the residential building.
2. Technical Equipment and Materials
A separate warranty period of 2 years applies to engineering equipment, heating and ventilation systems, and other technical components of the building.
These regulations increase developers’ accountability and strengthen the protection of Shared Construction Participants’ rights, ensuring the quality and safety of housing at all stages of operation.
Completion of the project is scheduled for June 2026.
Kazakhstan Housing Company JSC continues its systematic efforts to protect the rights of co-investors and complete shared-construction projects for which a warranty claim has been filed. The Company is closely monitoring the project’s progress, and will maintain ongoing communication with the investor and the co-investors’ initiative group until construction is fully completed.
