As of July 17, 2026, Kazakhstan Housing Company JSC (KHC) has introduced biometric identity verification for individual clients on the Housing Portal. The new functionality is now available in the Personal Accounts of KHC clients and applicants for rental housing with the right to purchase (RHP).
Key scenarios for biometric verification:
- Registration and initial authorization of KHC clients and RHP applicants;
- Signing of agreements under RHP, Orda Aymaq and Orda Aymaq Plus programs.
The process is as convenient as possible for users. Consent to the processing of biometric data is signed only once using an EDS or QR code via the eGov Mobile application. Thereafter, the system automatically uses it for all operations in the Personal Account.
The new functionality makes interaction with the Housing Portal even more secure and transparent, fully complying with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
