The President was briefed on the results of the holding’s activities for 2023 and on plans for implementing strategic directions in the current year.
According to Rustam Karagoishin, the total contribution of the holding to business support amounted to approximately 2.5 trillion tenge. Moving forward, in order to ensure high-quality and sustainable economic development, Baiterek intends to focus its efforts on comprehensive financing of growth points, prioritizing agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure, transport and logistics, as well as housing construction.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was also informed about plans to implement measures aimed at supporting and developing competitive entrepreneurs. An important goal is to expand financing for small, medium, and large business projects across all regions of Kazakhstan. Regarding SMEs, active support is planned for entrepreneurs in small towns, single-industry towns, and rural areas.
The Head of State emphasized the importance of intensifying work in these areas and noted that the systematic implementation of these tasks will allow significant results to be achieved in strengthening the economy and improving the well-being of the citizens of Kazakhstan.
